The stupid quirks like Bo5's split into two days, or re-seeding in the middle of the playoff stage? Honestly I'd take it all in stride if they didn't act like this is the end of their "master plan" by pulling stupid stunts like this. We all knew MBC execs wanted to see this. We're not stupid. But let us keep that in the back of our minds. Just don't smear it in our faces by forcing us to watch this poor excuse for "hype." Ignorance is bliss. Any time the organization behind a competition shows some sort of favoritism they should be scolded. They are supposed to play the part of the neutral host, even if one outcome is obviously more beneficial towards them in the end. The changes made perfect sense (except for splitting series) - every sport with a playoff system has brackets based on seeding. IMO it's the OSL that's being stupid for NOT doing this and now they're paying for it by having Flash vs Movie instead of Flash vs Jaedong. Hopefully they will fix this soon. This. I was going to say something similiar. It makes no sense at all to have top players eliminating each other early on in tournaments. Just adds an unnecessary "luck" factor to the players and is a pain in the arse for fans who want to see the best duke it out towards the latter stages of a tournament. Everyone is a little sad when a "Group Of Death" includes 3 top players and only 2 can advance. Sucked seeing Effort knocked out of the Calm/Effort/Shine/Fantasy group Does the Australian Open reseed the players once it gets to the quarterfinals? Does the World Cup reseed each remaining team in the quarterfinal stage of the playoffs? It would be one thing if the MSL seeded the players at the Ro16 stage, but doing it when there's only two rounds left before the final is just beyond stupid. I can understand people defending the stunt MBC pulled. But the way they changed how their playoff system works is indefensible in my mind. I can't think of a single other competition that reseeds players/teams after a playoff has already began.
the NFL always has the top seed play the lowest seed left. So essentially they re seed the tournament.

I didn't have the time to read through all of this so I apologize if this was already mentioned, but I saw that as a techical error on the broadcasters. At the time it popped up it appeared that Kal was in a position to GG and If you notice they did the same thing when he finally did GG, I think what happened is that they thought a GG was about to occur and queued up the transition for the end of the game, when the end didn't we have the current situation. imho people are looking too far into the whole thing.

The NHL doesn't change the seeds to rigg the brackets for the hopes of a biger finals. I can be real upset if they purposly changed the system just so they could increase chances of a Flash JD final. That kind of thing would be real unethical. But if it is truly all by chance, I'm cool with it.
Kinda off topic, but I find Kespa to be also a profit driven organization. In other sports, the governing body usually always work to provide fair/good conditions for its players and they are paid to do so. Kespa seems to provide conditions nessary for them to get paid more.
you mean a company wants to make money? considering the great product they give, i think they are allowed. jaedong and flash are #1 and 2 in kespa..wouldnt normal brackets have them on opposite sides? the whole purpose of seeds is to make it so the best players play each other in the final rounds. There are many ways to seed a player. You can seed them based on Kespa, MSL performance, and what not. Changing the way to seed a player to purposely make it so 2 popular players face each other in the finals to improve ratings is not ethical. That is unfair to other players. I am not accusing them of doing so, I'm just saying that if they did, it would be unethical. Seeding almost always works so that if all the games go according to rank, the two top players/teams meet in the finals. How many finals have Federer/Nadal met in?

it was a little insensitive, but remember that Koreans take everything much more personally ( or so it seems ). I think that even mildly offensive gestures and actions are taken very seriously in Korea

Man I was laughing so hard when flash just started fading into the screen in the middle of the game. Flash is the new weegee

Either way, what I thought was that IF Kal won the next 3 games, it'd still be true!
FLASH WOULD STILL MEET THE VICTOR IN THE FINAL ROUND.
The question is, did the message clearly reference to JD?
I think it'd be funnier in the end if it turns out the series went on longer, but the message is STILL TRUE.

The NHL does not reseed during the playoffs. Each team's rank when playoffs BEGIN is used to determine who they play in the next round--the best team always plays the worst and so on. There is no arbitrary shuffling to ensure matchups the fans want to see.

The tennis seeding works so that the number 1 and 2 player is put on opposite ends of the bracket. Federer and Nadal have met so many times in the finals because they've both occupied the number 1 and 2 slot for like the last 5 years, not because the tournaments change the seeding to give them a higher chance of meeting.
