NOTE: Winners League may not start right away, neither Fomos nor KeSPA has it on their calendars and they may have a break since both StarLeagues are nearly done.

Im gonna find out the last time this has happened, holy fuck.
Edit: Aside from so Winner's League matches dominated by Hiya, this is the first time Hwaseung/Lecaf have filled out a lineup without Jaedong since June 8, 2008. Not actually as long as I thought.

Haha I'm just telling you what I think they will probably do. Don't want people to be surprised and all pissed at me if WL lineups aren't out by this time next week.

When is the Lunar New Year? Starcraft stops for an entire week during that if I'm not mistaken.

eSTRO manages to get Gosl another PvZ ;p thanks Rainman.
These past two weeks are the first time that JD or Flash has gotten a day off since at least when they won their first Starleagues. Not counting when their team played WL without them having to play.
I vaguely recall an announcement that winner's league will be changed to 3 wins instead of 4 to take the match. Is this true? I really really hope not.
If Oz beats Khan I will be extremely amazed. Especially with someone like ggeaemo...I mean, really, Lomo? Backho!? Double PROTOSSES would've probably been better then fielding the Mine Sweeper Zerg!!

1 1/2 years is a pretty long damn time haha. i feel pretty foolish trading for jaedong last week now though :/
I'm not going to even bother trading Hero away. There's a very high chance he won't even have a chance to play.
Jangbi vs Hiya should be a good game. Luxury and Hwasin are both performing below their potential, but still showing some good play. That should be a nice set. Leta vs Fantasy is probably going to be great as well.
The lineups suck so hard for me. I have Jaedong as my captain and he doesn't even play. I have both Leta and Fantasy and they play against each other. And my poor Hero goes up against Flash. It's hard to find reasonable trades. I'm afraid I'll lose my good position in the last week.
anyway, I'm glad to see CJ and Oz supporting their players to give them a break to practice for starleagues. poor flash lol. couldn't they have gone one week w/o him? ahah

I don't like this at all =(
Neither do I, I hope I'm wrong I'm just relaying the facts since I use Fomos and now the KeSPA English site for lineups and neither has WL up. And the break seems kind of logical to have in my opinion. It probably would only be like a week or two while they most likely format Winners League and try to phase in new maps(that usually happens every two rounds ish). Outsider and HBR would most likely be gone and they'd keep some of the good maps(Match Point and Fighting Spirit?) Again I could be completely wrong I'm just speculating on what I know and what I see on the lineup sources.
A bit disappointed in KT, playing Flash on the 19th -- 2 days after his OSL finals and inbetween his OSL and MSL finals. I figure he's just gonna play a hastily put together build and go for some magic, but I'd have been really impressed if KT had the balls to sit Flash out 2 weeks in a row to help their star blossom.
But KT's had a pretty mediocre second round so maybe they're just trying to pull out one last big win that they need Flash for.

I think it's more Flash asking to be put in the lineups. He saw how KT fared without him and was pretty disappointed.

What was the status of StarLeagues then? Like I said I could and do hope that I am wrong, its just that I haven't seen any indication of Winners League starting on Fomos or KeSPA calendars.

IMO, the WL will begin on Saturday 25 January, a schedule will be, most likely, on Thursday 23 January.

unfortunately you're pretty wrong, kt wont do better with flash in this week. flash is the guy for the terran spot in the kt lineup, and he gave this spot to barracks last week, who actually won. so it wasn't kt-terrans fault that kt lost that game.
i hope for a clean 3:0 win against stx, kt always does good against better teams. if it goes 3:1 with flash winning we can start argueing if suny/forgg/barracks would also have been able to win against hero.

And Hiya's. Don'rt forget Hiya All-Kill. I weep for Oz right now.. =(
Hiya's All kill wasnt random.
On top of his all-kill he had several three kills, two kills etc. He was the FOURTH best player in last year's Winner League (after the obvious Flash, Bisu, Jaedong). This is a damn nice accomplishment. Especially his dragon destroying TvP was scary (only lost to Bisu iirc).
