I just read how the KeSPA rankings actually work.. and it appears to be pretty retarded to me? Why the hell do they do it like that? And why do we keep track of that? ELO is sooo much better O.o

I actually think the KeSPA ranking are pretty good for their purpose. I haven't read exactly how it calculates, but I know its heavily based on results such as topX in a starleague.

However, it's not good if you actually want to know who is the best at this very moment, but I don't think thats the purpose of it.
If you win a league or score high results you will gain points and that reward stay with you for a while.

It shows achievements rather than if you played good or not.
Achievements is really what its all about in the end.

If jaedong doesn't win a title and Flash does, Flash will pass him up. Bar none. Him winning a title requires him beating a top Kespa player in a Bo5, + 500 points for winning.
