And also, you plan on participating? :p hes seeded Show nested quote +FAQ: Can I be in the top 4 seeds? Answer: No, sorry but the first four seeds in NSL #1 is reserved for the ones who made this possible, the hosts, creators and sponsors of this league. But if you try really hard, I bet you can be a top seed on the next NSL! tbh someone should make the exact same league without the retarded favoritism I don't get whats so bad about it...they are copying the osl tourny system, which has seeds. Who else they gonna give it to? Doesn't really matter either way...if they aren't the best players they wont win, regardless of where they are seeded.

Answer: Eastern Standard Timezone as I see that the most convenient timezone to set it on. So if you live somewhere on Europe, you might have to consider the times into consideration. Would it be possible, at least for the preliminaries, to split the groups based on timezones (i.e. Americas, Europe, Asia) for participant convenience ?
That can be arranged and be possible if we have enough large number of people in Europe or Asia into the league.... otherwise it might be only based on American timezones...
Also, I am sort of planning to split the preliminaries into two different days and cutting up the number of people into half if we get a large pool of participants as well.

Then start playing :D

Comments: Thanks for putting this together; should be exciting. I haven't ever played enough on iCCup to equilibriate at a rank, but I'm confident I couldn't hit C- at my current skill. I am planning on playing more on iCCup this season than previous, hopefully I'll be able to game enough to prove my lack of skill :D

So my question is - is the "first week of January" on Thursday the 7th? If so, then I can definitely get the 50 games required (pending poll results)... I'm hoping it doesn't begin on the 1st, since that's New Years and means I'll have to mass game my ass off, which I'll do, I suppose... just fail cheese every game or some such.
I will check with striker about that. I do want to avoid New Year too; it's just cruel and unusual to have you guys massing games instead of preparing for the holiday.
And plz don't cheese every game.

I'll log the full 30 or 50 games whatever is needed. If I surpass D+ after that then feel free to remove me.
I just wanted to register before all the spots are filled (ie. CPL)

Will be mass laddering shortly and am not sure If I have surpassed d+ so will void submission if I hit c-. GL all ^^
Edit (Read this if your link is screwed up)Also if you use the [ or ] bracket in your link you need to use url encoding for it to work properly. To do this in the url=part of the code change you [ to a %5B and your ] to a %5D that way it should still load properly. If your still confused go here: http://www.blooberry.com/indexdot/html/topics/urlencoding.htm

ah thanks proom i missed that.

As I stated again previously, the games can be from past records if you have 30-50 already or can be fulfilled by playing this season within a week. The spots are plenty and can go as high # as like 200 if possible which would be fun and all.
BUT NOTE that this is an OSL format meaning besides the 4 seeds, whatever numbers we start off with, by the end of the qualifier rounds, the NUMBERS WILL REDUCE TO 36 for Ro36!!!!!

lol o.0 then... Why smurf wont be able to lose leave 50 times after 2 mins in the game?

I gave a link to a profile where I went 11-7 last season, and am at like 1-10 for this season [damn b's], do I actually need to continue ranking up games to prove my legitimacy? I mean, I don't normally play a lot so having 50 games from the past is gonna be quite' hard. Just uh, wondering if there are ways to be exempt from that rule if one can not meet it?

Well, I suppose just play enough that the total is somewhere around 40-50~ games.... I think the requirements might be lower to 40 possibility but we're still determining how we are going to judge. So just play like 10 more games or so and I think you should be alright.

[Type of interest into the NSL] - Player [iCCup rank] - D, my highest was about 1450, and that didn't last long. Average is about 1200 [Main Race] - Zerg [iCCup Name and Link] http://www.iccup.com/gamingprofile/sf_torquatus.html (low number of games last season due to college semester. I'm committing to this now, so there will be more than the 121 a few seasons ago). [Available Time] - Friday nights are best, 7-whenever-pm EST [Contact Info] - PM on iccup. I'm on there a lot, but PM on TL works too [Any suggestions, comments, opinions, requests?] - Just patience for those of us with crappy college internet :D
