FAQ: Can I be in the top 4 seeds?
Answer: No, sorry but the first four seeds in NSL #1 is reserved for the ones who made this possible, the hosts, creators and sponsors of this league. But if you try really hard, I bet you can be a top seed on the next NSL!
i dislike this because even if it's not favoritism, it could be construed as such. i would rather see a format of straight up single elimination rounds all the way down with as few byes as possible.

So my question is - is the "first week of January" on Thursday the 7th? If so, then I can definitely get the 50 games required (pending poll results)... I'm hoping it doesn't begin on the 1st, since that's New Years and means I'll have to mass game my ass off, which I'll do, I suppose... just fail cheese every game or some such.

What is your policy about offracing players? Say a C- high terran player wants to play with his Zerg, that currently can't get higher than around 2100 points.

This seems like fun, but I haven't ever played a single game on ICCup, and haven't played StarCraft even slightly seriously (where I reached a max APM of 100!) since 2005. D:
