- Your thoughts on winning
▲ I’m happy that I won. However, I thought I would lose because I was careless. I won’t play this way again.

- Your record is perfect with 3-0 right now
▲ I want to play in more matches, but my team has a lot of good players, so there are players who can’t play much. Therefore, I’m rather happy about the situation.

- You’ve been playing only against Zergs recently
▲ Recently, I’ve been doing well in the matchup so I think my coach aimed for that when he planned out the entries. My opponent was ggaemo, but I just wish I had played against a stronger opponent. I’m strong when I play a Zerg so I would get more attention if I play better players.

- Do you want other Zerg players to play more other than Luxury?
▲ I think it’s time for him to rest up a bit (laughs). But that’s because other Zergs are strong too. However, the rest of us are coming out to play equally, so that’s alright. I think the coaching staff is doing well deciding who comes out when.

- Because you have strong players, you must not have too much pressure playing your games
▲ I can prepare the matches without much pressure. However, I had a little concern today. If I won, we would have won 3-0, but if I lost, Jaedong would have come out. It’s not that Luxury is worse, but Jaedong is such a strong opponent to face.

- Do you want to come out against MBC Heroes?
▲ MBC is doing really well lately. If I do get to play, I’ll try my hardest to win (laughs). Because they barely use a Zerg, I don’t know if I will be able to come out (laughs).

-Anything else you want to say?
▲ The headquarters bought us new blankets and books. I thank them so much. And Firefist is in MSL, so I want him to advance and teamkill Stats. If that happens, KT will go to round of 8 no matter what. Also, it was Flash’s 1000th day since debut, so the fans sent us a lot of food. I thank them for the food.

“I think I’ll face Jaedong a lot from now”



- Your thoughts on victory
▲ Today’s entry was good. I predicted that we would do well, and that became true. 815 was playing the first game, so I thought that we could take it 3-0 if he won.

-Did you want to play Jaedong in the ace match?
▲ I wanted to at some point. However, I don’t know why but I think we’ll face each other a lot from now. I’m just happy that we won 3-0 today.

- You set a new record for 18 consecutive wins against Terran
▲ I never would have thought of such number. I didn’t know that I would come this far even when I was at a 10-game winning streak. But every time I get a win, I feel like I grow stronger.

- Do you feel prepared for a 20-game winning streak?
▲ No one has done that in the past. I’m just happy that I’m a step closer. If I do achieve such feat, I think I’ll be happy as the first one.

- People are talking about who will break your vT streak.
▲ Sea is doing well so I want to face him. He mentions me a lot in his interviews and he accepts me for doing well. Because he’s a great player, I want to play him.

- Coincidentally, your next opponents are MBC
▲ The coaching staff plans out the entry so we’ll have to see. I won’t be disappointed to play other players. During the 18 games, I don’t think I’ve met anyone bad. I’m so much happier when I win against a strong opponent. I don’t want to dodge my game against Sea.

- You couldn’t get a 100-win interview at the CJ match because your team lost
▲ I wanted to do it, but I was disappointed that I couldn’t. However, we overcame the defeat so I’m okay with it. It’s not a big problem. We just have to keep moving forward.

- Can’t you just do a 101-win interview?
▲ I didn’t have anything special to say at the 100-win interview. I just wanted to thank my fans. Yesterday was my 1000th day as a progamer. I think it’s a special time for me recently. I’m not letting my guards down and I am trying harder, so I hope you keep cheering me on.

- Anything else you want to say?
▲ We had so much food at my 1000th day. But I couldn’t even thank the people who brought me food. They just left the food and left because we were in practices. I want to thank them through this interview. I thank the people from DC Inside. Thank you for cheering me on, and by my 2000th and 3000th day, I’ll have accomplished a lot more.

“My last loss helped me a lot”



- You got your 8th win of the season.
▲ Ever since the past, I have been prepared well for vP matches in Heartbreak Ridge. I was confident that I would win if I didn’t let my guard down. However, BackHo had prepared a lot himself. I could have lost if he had played like he always does, but I won because I prepared for the attack well in game. I’m also happy that I didn’t let Jaedong come out in 4th set

- Your all-win streak has been ended at the last game
▲ I think I would have felt better if I won. However, I made a lot up for my mistakes in the past game. I didn’t care much about my perfect record but instead took the game as a measurement of my practices and how I can improve. I had only thought of my potential improvements, but due to the last game, I was able to come up with more definite ways.

- Are you happy your gameplay today?
▲ There were many bad parts as well. However, there are things I did well on as well. I’m trying not to think negatively about it, but I’m disappointed that I couldn’t put storms into good use. My storms last game against Effort weren’t that good either. I give my storms 0 points (laughs).

- You’re playing the rank 2 team, MBC
▲ I don’t have someone in my mind. They’re all good, so I don’t want to face one specific person. However, if I get sent out, I’ll definitely win.

-You were shaken by the dark templar
▲ I never faced that strategy in during practice. I was expecting someone else. However, I played the game out well so the game didn’t end with the dark templar. I was really surprised when it came to me.

-You seemed to have gotten the advantage after pushing 7 o’clock expansion, but things became tense again
▲ Because I had to block a dark templar early on, my expansion was late as well as my tech, so I couldn’t do anything. Even when I pushed 7 o’clock expo, my opponent still had his army so it was hard to decrease the margin from the beginning. I had reavers, but my high templar count was low, and I thought I would lose from losing the reavers. But thankfully, BackHo didn’t have observers so I was able to block with my dark templar.

- Do you think you’ll do even better in R2?
▲ I do think I will do better in R2. As for the last game, I lost because I lacked something and I found the definite source of my mistake. I can forget about losses easily. My loss helped me out a lot.

-Anything else you want to say?
▲ I thank my team Protoss players for helping me practice. I thank the coaching staff for always working so hard. I also thank the people who brought food yesterday. It was good
