well, personally, i don't really care which format is used, fair or not. i'm just unhappy because you guys are trying to change it now, and not 3-4 weeks earlier (kinda like how i'd be pissed if a professor mentions a specific final exam format in the syllabus and decides to change it right before the day of the exam). so... if this arguing goes on for another day or so, how about we have like a vote from all CPL participants (and i mean EVERYONE, not just members in the finals)?

Another alternative that came up was a Bo21 but we use a random generator to pick players for each match. It does sound like it could be fun, but I don't think its a suitable way to hold the finals lol.

Our team has a Terran who played in the early season and then disappeared. We see him periodically now but I don't think he's actually played a game with us in months.
And we have a Zerg who also played in the early season but has now peaced out for SC2.
However, I don't think recruiting ace players from top teams is in the spirit of the league exactly, lol.

I think it's perfectly legal, they want a BO7 and you only have 4 players. Ketomai and I would be 100% down for filling out your roster. And what does spirit have anything to do with it when they're going to be anal about doing a BO5 instead?

i'd rather not finally give in and make all my comments go to waste, but it looks like we have to, because it seems you won't accept any negotiations and rather stick to what you had originally planned and make us deal with it. only reason i argued this now is because right after we won vs WIO, l10f was considering on if we should change the format for finals.
