d/d+ terran right now, good manners, can play 2-3h a day (: the players could donate (if they can) via pp/whatever small sums (5-10-15$ ?) to the prizepool (which should go to the coaches imho) so they can show they are serious bout this. | ||

I think getting lots of players to take part won't be a problem it's an awesome idea, getting coaches isn't too hard if we have C coaches. An idea is also that all players has a small pay in, the winning coach would get it as a prize( 6 teams 30 players, like 100 dollars to winning coach). That would increase interest from higher ranked players, make it more interesting for all participating. Also following it on TL would be great if there was good write ups and brackets. Team incontrol vs Team Oystein, team Nazgul etc. A tournament/league at first to settle up even teams, perhaps it wouldn't be too bad if there was more coaches in one team. That gives the interested C-coaches a chance to help the players, also a chance for them to learn a bit from a higher ranked player. I think if this is well organized, the players take it seriously and there's something in it for the higher ranked players then we've definitly got something awesome coming up! | ||

Every player willing to participate as a coach, please send a PM to l10f and me with your ICCup handle, rank, and race. This is so that we can keep track of the number of coaches willing to participate and for future reference shall we decide to balance the teams out a bit. Coaches need to be at least high C+ in skill level, but of course, higher skilled coaches will have preference. Each coach will have around 4-5 pupils max, them being from D- to low C- in rank with lower skilled players having preference as well. There will have to be at least 12 teams for this league to run smoothly, with 8 teams being the bare minimum. It is still undecided how we will be arranging the brackets, whether it be by team votes, randomly, team pick, or something along those lines, but it will follow a BO5 format with the fifth game being an ace match. Of course, we will be using winner-loser brackets to avoid any sort of weird stuff from happening (bad mood days, etc), and to allow for the possibility of great comebacks! There will be different CWs each week (The number will depend on the number of teams we'll have) so that the coaches can have at least two weeks to prepare their pupils for the next CW. We will be playing on four (4) of the current proleague/courage maps which will be chosen by popular TL vote! Of course there could be some exceptions if you guys want other maps (Blood Bath, Python, lol). The league should happen after TSL2, given that many coaches could potentially come from there, and we don't want to stress them out with more competition. And of course, all the in-game rules that apply to ICCup will apply to this league! We will also be needing people to help us manage stuff and if you're interested in contributing in any way you think you can, don't hesitate to tell any of us! (I read somewhere about someone wanting to stream some of the matches which is a badass idea imo!). This is just the first iteration of the rules for this league; it is still subject to change! Right now we're just going to see how many coaches would be interested in participating, as apparently, there's a lot of pupils in this thread xd | ||

I am fairly new to this site, and the world of professional starcraft, but this sounds so fun that I am very willing to help making it happen, if I can contribute in any way. I also want to play and I have high potential for quick improvement  | ||
