Dont know where the gooser is , but I say we try and organize it for this weekend, or next. Then, if we arent (all) weirdos, we can get together regularly for the love of the game , and drunkness . I guess the last question really is location- We could BYOC at our apt downtown. Probably a few logistical things about if the network can hold it / LAN etc (not my area of knowledge!). Failing that, if anyone knows of any internet Cafes we could game at, that would be loads of fun too. There is one on Rideau, and while I do like it, it is of dubious quality at best for many players. Finally, someone could look into renting a room in a school somewhere, however that works. This is just swell, I didnt think there was so many of us reppin' the nations capital. Looks like we all blow too, haha. While it matters largely as to how/where we do it (our apt, vs a cafe, vs a room at a school) , who prefers downtown to carleton area? Poll: Do you jive with Downtown or Carletown area!? I havn't been playing copetitively or actively for this past year but im on SC all the time, im leading NrG. and not really playing much cuz of school etc. I live right by Alqonquin College, and i have abou 10-15 minute drive to get to the Carleton/Bronson area. What i was thinking is maybe only a certain amount of comps would be needed, then we could just plugin our mouse/keyboards and away we go, monitor isnt too important to me  I use a notebook bug plug my keyboard and mouse into it, so it would get kinda messy bringing all that shit.BTW im C rank right now, and im 20. I think this first round is going to be downtown at our place, which is near the bridge to vanier, in sandy hilll (a residential area near Ottawa U). I was thinking that if people dont feel like bringing their shit, we would just sort of be able to cycle on a few computers, and just have a couple games goin at time. Itll probably get down to that anyway, its always fun to shoot the shit and watch your friends beat your other friends in a videogame, while saying how you could have done it better. I think we have enough surface area to support it all. There is free parking very close by, let me see if I can see the sign from the window....Free parking all night on our street starting at 6. It's goin down this saturday at around 7 I believe. So long as we aren't (all) weirdos (Not really sure if I can speak for myself yet, but gooser is pretty cool) , then Im sure this will become at least a semi-regular thing, for those who cant make it this time or whatever. If you dont feel like bringing a PC, I'm sure just a keyboard and mouse will suffice. And, if you really want, you can smoke, or drink, or whatever , but do not, do not try and bring a shawarma anywhere near my bedroom. It's not that they aren't the best food under 5 bucks, but for the love of god if I have any more garlic induced nightmares I just... I'll break down : ( So just pm the goose and will put you on the guest list, hah. ahh. | ||

We do have a guy that brings cake though. ManiSevs, we'll get a guy that brings a camera next time. While Kennigits sweet PvT was illustrated against a guy I only knew as "sweet hair" , we dont get to see Goosers epic PvT against that same "sweet hair". The game includes such things as: 8 storms on a vulture. storms on a comsat. Going to storm siege tanks without researching storm. going for a double recall without researching recall. trying to use mass archons to kill science vessels. A shortage of D players no. But there is no shortage of bad manners and play that has never been seen before. Plus we have a guy that is chinese named Carlos. think about it. We also have David Kim. Fo real. | ||

Yeah everyone were great Ds but it was funnier that way. Kennigit's game is just completely awesome and our race war was epic! I got destroyed by NeverExpo twice but I was so happy to in-base proxy rax him with blocked rines that made my barracks invincible on destination. I killed 2 drones! | ||

When you are actually on the bus, there are big signs signaling that you are entering the University of Ottawa. Either of the two stops are fine (Laurier is the better of the two, but there is not much difference). It's pretty hard to miss. | ||

The next one is going to drop in January, we will plan it a bit more in advance so we can get accurate numbers, and if it's that big again we'll work the two conferences in two rooms I think, thatd be mad fun. lol at Los bringing it home for the Iron Chefs over the North Koreans. Starting training! New thread will go up soon enough to see who wants to test their might. This one was a great one, had a couple of newcomers who were top dogs. Honourable mentions to Sub Zero and Calm, two of the better players who tried to stop by for a quick showing but stayed until 3. Nobody gets out alive. Sub Zero made it to the finals and provided exciting matches for his fans. Ninja/Ella takes the cake for best game I think. Irradiated infested terrans, and more mine drags than.... well, it was the most mine drags ever. Thanks for comin everyone, I know the 4 flights of stairs is a challenge, but you all did it. Shout outs almost go to wishbones for being so helpful in trying to get people here, but points taken away for pooping in Goosers room. | ||
