Going from the translation it merely states his contract ends in less than a year, not his career. I think contract renewal doesn't happen 1 year before it runs out. Also, the wording suggests (unless done purposely to fool you) that it's less than 1 year, but definitely more than 6months (around 9 months). Otherwise it would be "in a bit more than 6 months" or something along those lines.

He stated at some point that he still wants to be a pro-gamer at 30 (should the possibility arise). Therefore I believe his intention is not to retire (or at least he is undecided).

So basically, he didn't say anything...

Boxer as a playing coach like oov is pretty inevitable. Frankly, with Boxers ridiculous understanding of the game for a team not to hire him as a coach would be stupid.

Boxer will stay a part of esports, I'm sure of it. He's such an iconic figure that he will always be used in advertising and stuff. And if Nalra can become a commentator then Boxer obviously could too. But yea, I hope he becomes a coach.
