I however still cannot understand why you'd choose a phrase that would alienate a non-insignificant number of potential 'customers' to the product when one could easily find a suitable replacement.
The cafe is not a product as you put it - it's meant to be a way to connect the foreign fans with Jaedong. I don't even know why you think this is such a bad name. I don't follow the foreigner scene so all I know about it is it's the WCG theme music. Why are you being so negative about something that doesn't even matter - it's the content that counts. Not a name.

If that were the case, why does every single company have a marketing team? How many great products with value have failed due to poor marketing / visibility or inadvertently antagonizing the public with a botched ad campaign?
"a way to connect the foreign fans with Jaedong" is a product being 'sold' to the public/fanbase. You created a site with inherent value, and you want people to use it. The relationship is congruent to creating a product and wanting people to buy it. And by the way, "wanting people to buy it" isn't the same as "wanting to make monies", because you can very well want the public to use/buy your product so that their lives are better and the world overall will be a better place.
The fact that you fail to see it in that light is irrelevant to what the relationship between the site and its potential users - and hence the manner in which it should be presented so that both the site and its potential users get the most value and use out of it

I don't even understand what you're talking about now. Why is 'Beyond the Game' such a terrible title? Can't you answer than it a simple manner? The cafe is not a product - it's meant to be a fun and interesting addition to TL's Korean coverage - not some grand 'consumer product' or however way you want to phrase it.

34 pages of results. Also I have no idea what the connotations are other than it being the WCG theme music.

Go safe GM from getting busted, Jeez

Are you suggesting that this fansite is shitty and poorly run? Because that's what you're implying when you associate it with GM and its products, along with its utter lack of value.
Shame.

I'm associating you, and your endless knowledge about marketing ,with GM. A guy with such a spectacular ability to make precise judgement of a product's quality is wasting himself here.
Shame

It is very true that I am indeed wanting my time here.
It is truly a shame.

thedeadhaji can you please stop trolling this thread? Jaedong is a product that doesn't need marketing. He sells himself and you either love him or you hate him. You obviously hate him so just stop wasting your time by posting here.

I honestly feel ashamed to have made this cafe now. I am not aware of the foreign scene in the slightest and my experience of the song is only from WCG Korean qualifiers. If the title is such a bad one then can you just close the OP. As people on my other blog suggested fancafes are more of a Korean thing and maybe it's just better to forget I suggested them in the first place. If someone wants to change the name then fine, but I don't know if I want to work on something which I'm now embarrassed about.

No i will not close this. You will grow up and learn to accept criticism. The fan cafe for jaedong is a good idea - are we allowed to have an opinion on something if we are going to sign our name on it? THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOU. Fuck my life. This is about the cheesy terrible Beyond The Game WCG song that everyone makes fun of. Nevergg, if you didn't know that, i don't care - now you do.
Suggestions for new name?
