With the way the system works (thanks Kespa for being fucking stupid) he'd normally have to renegotiate with his old team if he didn't sign with a new one, but the old team would have all the trump cards and could basically resign him for free, because otherwise he'd end up as semi-pro for the time being, lol. Now, if this offer by Hwaseung is true it gives him a pretty sound security net. | ||

*REPAYMENT RULES* Teams that wish to acquire free agents must A) Repay 200% of the the progamer's annual salary to their original team, or B) Repay 100% of the progamer's annual salary to the original team, and give one player to the original team (excluding six players on their protected players list). Progamers who earn less than 50,000,000 Won a year are excluded from the repayment rule. How does the protected players list work? Does the team choose 6 players to protect? Looks like Oz will be getting a new player soon. Who in the right mind will want to pay Oz 200% of Jaedong salary as well as paying Jaedong an increased salary as well... | ||
