Only one that actually answers my quesiton was Pachi. I didn't think it was much to ask to go in to a RESULTS and STANDINGs thread to see the results. I'll check back less often if it was only weekly updated. This aint the first time i checked it either.

bahhh, all of them replied to your question since your question was rhetorical. You asked why bother doing this if you're not going to update it, which is clearly meant to make a statement rather than ask a question.

You say it's not much work to update this thing? Last season it took me six hours a week to update this thing once a week. Six hours on one day of the week, every week. That basically means I had to sacrifice one day a week simply to keep this thing running. And it's not that enjoyable work either, since it's just reading in results. This season it's been much easier thanks to pachi, so it takes me about 30 minutes to update it, and then a further 45 minutes to do the weekly stats report. Now, I can keep it update everyday, and that would take me 3 hours a week to do, but then it would become a massive hassle again, and at the end of this season we'll have to find some new person willing to do it, who'll probably do a worse job than me because he's inexperienced, and who is unlikely to be willing to sacrifice 6 hours a week himself.

So yes, demanding that this R&S thread be updated 24/7 is too much to ask at the moment. I am working on getting an automatic update to this thread, which would mean it would be automatically update all the time, but for that I need considerable hours of work from our coders, who are too busy working on other important things for the site right now, like the TSL website. Remember, everyone here is doing this on their free time, without getting anything back from it, except for nice comments most of the time.

So there you have a reply to your "question". This gets updated every wednesday, unless I'm extremely busy in which case it will get updated on thursday or friday. This means you can start every week off with a clear picture in mind of what's going on. Furthermore you get stats from the proleague that you can't get anywhere else, like the top players, or detailed map statistics. You can also look back in the detailed match results to see how the previous week went. Hopefully that will make up for the fact that it's not updated daily.

Haha, you don't have to leave. I think on TL.net everybody that's part of the community contributes. Sorry if my answer came out a bit strongly, I just wanted to explain clearly the amount of time that goes into something like this. Seriously though, TL.net wouldn't exist without people commenting on the forums, so anyone saying that someone with 888 posts doesn't contribute is talking bs. Just try not to sound like you're demanding things, and you'll be fine

Is 6-3 better record than 5-2? or does mass gaming effect? Or lets ask different way is 10-5 better than 5-0?

I think there is some of Zergs just barely out of ranking, like Jaedong, 815.

The proleague award is Most Wins, so players are ranked by amount of wins first, then seperated by other things such as losses just to give a more diverse ranking.

OP is always updated on weekly basis (or could be bi-weekly?), they have so many effort of calculating the stats and put them into table/picture format. Not just Proleague, but MSL and OSL as well.
