Basically a bunch of people get stuck constantly warping to random dimensions, where things may be similar to the "real world" or may be completely fucked in the ass!

Think Stargate/Back to the Future/Fringe mixture.

Holy shit. I remember watching a few episodes of this in the 90s. I am just watching the first 30 minutes of episode 1 (pilot) now and holy shit it is awesome!!! I won't spoil anything, you just need to watch the first 20 minutes to know whether or not you'll like this.

OMG, I used to love this series. So many great parallel Earth stories. Never really seen the whole thing though, maybe I'll do now.

Hell yes! I remember the very first episode I saw had Peter Jurasik (sp?) as a guest star, and I recognized him as the guy that played Londo Mollari in Babylon 5 :D Nerd Nostalgia~~

Sliders was a pretty cool show. Reminds me of all the B/C-cast shows from the past, a la Hercules, it's spin-off Xena etc... Those were the days.

Yeah, this was a great show although I think I remember it starting to suck after it was on SciFi and it seemed to have gotten silly. Maybe I'm misremembering things though. I've always wanted to rewatch this show though.

they get back home, but they leave when the gate that's supposed to squeek makes no noise, thinking it's not home after all. Right after they leave, it turns out that the gate was just fixed. So sad.

Babylon 5 is the greatest show ever, hands down.
