If you do decide to grow out a beard before shaving it, please do look into a way to use it for a good cause. I know people have grown out their hair to donate towards cancer patients (Locks of Love) maybe there is something similar for beards.

I also approve of the gf suggestion to look into other sources of income. Crafts are a hard sell and not a very stable market from what I have seen. You could have tons of interest one day and then nothing for months.

Thank you for the input. But, yes it is something I have talked with them about. It is something in the making, and not something I just decided today. I am still giving it thought though. I will proceed with the growing of the beard while I thinking long and hard about this. Your advice is solid, and I will for sure be looking at secondary sources of income. I'm sure I will end up having to do 2 or 3 things to make enough to get by. However, I am a minimalist and my spending is in check. I am very good on a budget. At the same time I know it might be hard. I know I also could fail. But, I at least want to take a shot at a dream or 2 while I'm still kinda young (still thinking though).
