I will check out that contest. And who knows, maybe if my beard becomes manly enough, maybe I'll take some road trips to various beard contests and meet some Tlers along the way.

A hiccup I can think of is making your money your own way often has something to do with interacting with customers. Customers are often intimidated by manly beards although the picture now does look professional ;p

Dog walking and walking stick making could get a minimalist by but not one or the other. As far as other ideas go.... are you good at repairing or building things/technology? Maybe some kind of other carpentry like being a "handy man" for hire?

EDIT: obviously grow the beard.

Hahah yeah I grow chops many times. I usually have to shave after a few weeks at the most otherwise my wife is not happy. Currently I have a chin strap (due to lazy shaving days) but every few weeks I try something new.I should make a facial hair blog myself haha.

I really reallly want a nice chops handle bar combo but she equates that to kissing a dog and will not do it no matter what. T_T

Nothing current been very busy with this new job.(as far as balloon blogs) I want to make a ask FuDDx's dad thread about Biker clubs and his life still trying to get that sorted.

I am a school photographer hahah I go to schools all over Southern Arizona and do year book, Ids, and picture packages for students,staff and teachers. Its actually one of the funner "real" jobs Ive had.And can be pretty profitable booth in promoting my balloons/magic and specially when driving out of town.

I'm so jealous.

I want a John Petrucci/Jesus beard but all I can grow atm is mexican fuzz moustache, some chin hair, and that dirty crappy neck hair that is impossible to completely shave off. Basically a hobo beard, except not the cool kind of the thin and dirty looking ones that make people want to shave them off themselves.

Hopefully I can get something more respectable by the time I'm 20 or so :S

That picture is old, but yes I am. It's already back in prime form. Not nearly as big as yours, but still with these chilly days approaching the time is now.
