Hey guys! Hope everyone has had an awesome weekend, especially for all those cool kids that attended MLG Anaheim. Anaheim was such a punch and we still have championships today! It's absolutely incredible going and seeing how much the SC2 scene has rocked MLG. It's on the main stage and smashing all the other games. Our crowds roar when good storms, fungals and emps go off, while the people at halo clap when a game is won.

Anyways this weekend was such a great experience, I was planning on playing originally and waited to long to buy a ticket so I had to sit on the wait list to see If i was going to be able to play or not. Not much hope the night before I received an e-mail letting me know a spot had opened and I was at the top of the wait list. Since I've gotten home from Romania I have had very little practice because I've been busy enjoying the summer with friends and family. This made me really unsure if I should still play or not, but a good buddy of mine talked me into it and I'm really happy about that. My first two opponents were Zergs and I was able to 2-0 them. My 3rd round opponent in winners was FnaticFenix. I knew I wasnt going to win simply because he's been training and ZvT is my worst matchup. Of course I lost 2-0 to Fenix. MY 4th round losers was tQ Mewtwo. First game he 1 gate expanded on me into a SG opening timing. Timings vs P are my weakest points so I wasnt prepared for the push and lost the game. Game 2 he 1 gate expo'd again so i decided to slam him with lings, making him cancel his nexus. When I hit him, I saw a stargate again, so I teched to lair, got hydras out, and pushed with hydra / roach / ling while taking a 3rd and took the game. Game 3 was just another silly timing which I should have won, I've been practicing against a 7 gate timing with +1 attk all week and still lost to it. I typically play with a fast 3rd + a macro hatch and delay lair along with adding +1 range and +1 melee attack with heavy roach ling. I ended up trying to go hydras for some reason and he hit before I was able to get a sufficient amount.

All in all it was a great time, i played alot better than I expected. I was talking with my manager and he informed me that he's willing to send me to Raleigh as long as I hit GM before the event so I've got alot of sufficient ladder grinding to put in. Thanks for the players that took time to watch my games and I hope to see you guys at Raleigh!
