So in lieu of playing late last night, I decided to go to sleep early and wake up before work to get some games in. This ended up being a really good move I think, as I woke up feeling really refreshed and excited to play. My hope was to get at least 10 games in, which I did, so not sure if I'll be playing later tonight or not, but most likely yes. Now I definitely see where being well-rested can come into play, but if you're not tired playing at night, I don't see much of difference. Out of curiosity, has anyone else noticed any trends in playing better or worse depending on the time of day?

I'm still not working with a specific build order, but I am sticking to a similar style. In general I've been 4 gating into an initial push, then either backing off and expanding or continuing pressure. I've also messed with some 3 gate robo, and have been working forges into different times to see how upgrades will work with what I'm doing.
Well, let's jump into the games...

Take that Zergs! As much as I'd love to say my Zerg play is improving, I really think they may just be BO wins. The Zs I lost to on day 1 and 2 were mostly pool first, even strictly 1 base, where as my Zs today were going hatch first, or at least expoing before others I'd faced. Interestingly, I'm noting that a lot of Protoss opponents have started going dt when they see warpgates only. I don't think it's a bad idea since I've lost a couple games to it, but I usually have the money by the time I see them to throw down a robo or forge and be ok.
I'm also getting a lot of Plat opponents, so hooray! Perhaps a promotion will come sooner then I think, since I've been matched against mostly Plat players. Any predictions on how soon I'll get promoted?
Looking at my replays of my games, my goal for playing was to work on hotkeys, however that really didn't come to fruition. Most games I did manage to hotkey my buildings I wouldn't normally, but for the most part I rarely used them. It's definitely going to be a huge adjustment for me to start learning to use them. I'm thinking about just forcing myself to use the hotkey, even if I click on the building, just to remind myself.
Anyone have any tips on getting used to hotkeys? I have a feeling I'm going to struggle with this for awhile, but we'll see what happens.
