Ok so first off, yes I am a girl but no, I'm not gonna post stuff like "OMG!! That outfit totally clashes!! :O". I'll probably post stuff more like how I hate the whiners on COD4 and how much paintballs sting when you get hit by a 20 bps gun at a 3 feet range in the square of your back *personal knowledge, it kills*
Just to give you a look on what kind of person I am, the best way to say is it that I am a geek. I'm the top in my computer class, I play video games all the time, and I love reading comic books.
I watch Family Guy, Futurama, Ugly Americans, and Big Bang Theory plus a couple of other shows.
If my boyfriend ever brings me to a chick flick, I will seriously question his sexuality. I prefer either horror, comedy, or action. Btw, best way to see if it's a good action movie is if there are 5 explosions in the first 15 minutes.
I play mainly on the PS3 but I rate the systems,
PC
Nintendo 64
PS3 + 360
Wii
My PS3 games are COD4, COD4: MW2, Assassins Creed 1&2, Batman, Fallout3, MAG, Mortal Combat vs Dc Universe, FF7 FF9, and FF10. I play some Sherlock Holmes games and Star Craft on the PC.
um what else... I listen to just about everything under the sun except for Disney. There is no excuse for that. I listen to Classic Rock, Hip Hop, R&B, Blues, Country, Metal, Screamo, Rock, Alternate, and Techno.
I play paintball and family football. I watch hockey, Football, and baseball all the time. w00t Red Sox & Patriots & Bruins!!! I snowboard, run, and surf a lot during the right seasons. I love playing with fire ^_^ I also love fixing computers. I'm not afraid to get dirty which is why I absolutely love mudding. Funnest thing to do and worth cleaning up the jeep after. I also fish a lot so if your squeamish, we might not get along to well.
The last thing I want to say is I am dating a guy named Jeremy and I spend every minute I can with him right now because he is leaving on September 11th to Kuwait with the Army. Don't talk bad about the army around me btw. All I will have to say is that if you won't stand behind our soldiers, then feel free to stand in front of them. But I love him so much and I'm proud to say he is my boyfriend and hero. I will miss him more then anything when he is gone.
Now that you've read my bio pretty much, you need to tell me about yourself ^_^ Less creepy  lol

Its just every time I go to a sight and I talk about how I am a geek, people always assume that I am a fat ugly chick because normal looking girls can't possibly like sports and video games. So, when I say that just to prove I'm not a fat ugly chick, I was just merely stating that there are normal chicks who aren't socially awkward that like sports and video games and geek stuff. I wasn't trying to come off as an asshole. I'm sorry if it came out that way.

I'm chubby and not particularly visually appealing (and I am a pretty devoted survival horror/RPG gamer.) and I get on just fine here. Having to post a photo just to 'prove' you're not either of these things is also pretty lame and doesn't give me the best impression of you. You sound like you don't accept overweight or unattractive people as being allowed to also be gamers/being decent people. I 'get' your reasoning when you explain it, but it still comes off as kind of snobby.

I'm not particularly offended or anything, but we have enough 'tits or GTFO' types on TL who will ask for photos and then call you ugly to your face without girls coming on here and advertising themselves as 'normal.' It seems kind of sad. I hope you can blog with some more content in the future. Since aside from Susie, Smix, Emlary and myself (plus a couple of others.) there aren't many active women on here.
Btw, I hate romantic comedies too. Thankfully I tell people a flat out no if they try to make me watch them. (Alongside stuff from Pixar which I find mind-numbing.) What comic books do you read? I used to work in two comic shops back home and I tore through their Marvel section like there was no tomorrow. I'm also a fan of things like 30 Days, Walking Dead etc. Anything with a horror over/under-tone.

there are plenty of intelligent, hard working soldiers who don't want to be thought of as juvenile rednecks.
there are also plenty of complete scumbags in the army.
this type of obnoxious pseudo-patriotism hurts america in a very real way, so please think before you contribute to it.

I read a lot of the classics. I look through yard sales and find what ever looks interesting. Mainly Marvel too. The newer ones I read are Supernatural, Ferryman, and Ghost Busters. I have about 1000 now haha :D
