EPTi really havent slept. im kinda too excited. i got out of bed (was reading stuff cause summer homework durr ;; ), my mom was up and shes like ok lets go get donuts. obviously i agree and, at the moment, am eating an apple fritter ^^
she asks me what time i need to be at the convention center. I went to MLG anahiem in 09 ( if anyone sees me with the shirt that says 'sbeasting' on the back, say hi ^^), so my mom knows that im kinda into this whole MLG thing. she knows how much time i play/watch video games and that i adjusted my sleep schedule for GSL. so yeah she knows im completely into videogames, much to her dismay
I just tell her, well. damn. im so excited. like, Mvp, one of my favorite players (maybe i shouldnt have mentioned to my mom that he was cute oO) is there. boxer, a legend. mma, drg, alicia, choya, rain, ganzi, oz. koreans! and then theres the americans...
ive been qxc fan since i saw his play during beta, when i could only watch MLGs king of the beta because i had never played any starcraft. i remember cheering during IEM USA when he beat huk, who i'd also liked. and qxc is gonna be, what, at anaheim? oh my fucking god.
im just so excited for this. all my dreams are kinda coming true and im so glad i get to be there.
the best part is that ive followed pro halo wayyy longer than pro sc2 and the fact that they're both there at the same event is awesome
oh and do i need to explain the fact that str8's '08 (or is it '09) lineup, aka MONSTROUS, with t2, legit, neighbor, and elamite are going to play? Im pretty fucking hyped for this. and then tD (triggers down), the beast of halo 3 that completely stole the show from the str8 lineup in '09 are back with none other than pistola. instinct (aka team that dropped 1 map at columbus. 1 map, in reach. thats fucking dominance) is gonna show ofcourse. and then, carbon. i started watching in halo 2 when carbon and fb were the two TOP TOP TOP teams. like, jd and flash level dominance. but maybe less sexy. and i always cheered for carbon. however flawed this new carbon is (the old h2 member, ghostayame who was on team classic for quite a while decided to revive it with, lol, soldier187 + 2 relatively unknowns, that have been around for a while), carbon is fucking back. oh. my. god.
and then back to starcraft. where itll be impossible to see everything and ill probably just find a seat somewhere and watch the casting.
My plans:
today (friday): watch starcraft and ofc the fb/carbon match on the halo section ( i think its today)
wearing: MLG '09 battle for anaheim shirt, grey jeans
saturday: well shit i need to make a sign for the championship bracket
sunday: hold my signs up <3
im really fucking pumped. im sorry not many people care about halo, and are disappointed that i cant cover how much starcraft theres gonna be and all the people im watching out for. but i mean holy crap.
im gonna buy a few MLG shirts to have signed, of course. and the anaheim '11 one for the memories. <3
