Hello in there!
Perhaps you stumbled on this page clicking my profile by mistake or perhaps you are extremely bored and you want to randomly scan strangers' blog, but still here you are to this blog where a random dude wants to become better at a videogame. While this sentence sounded pathetic, I'm quite sure you understand why someone would wants to spend its precious time on the incredible game SC2 is.
My primary objective here is to maintain some sort of dairy in order to target my weaknesses in SC2 and then work on them in order to, eventually, get better. For the moment, I am in top silver league. While getting promoted in this league recently made me happy, I feel leagues are absolutely useless; I just want to get better at this game that is becoming slowly an obsession. All these year I never understood people following sports, I though it was absolutely useless and a total waste of time. Since I discovered the eSports scene I guess I kinda understand this obssesional feeling; I think about SC2 most of the time (I still think sports are useless and boring, but heh, whatever works in order to get some happiness in this crazy world, so I don't judge, I just hate sports in general).
I began to play as a bronze player, in fact, I remember, every single placement match was a beating; I realized the hard way that I really suck at RTSs. The thing is it is the first time I get serious about playing a RTS. Additionally, I decided to play as a Zerg! I discoverd that it was an even more difficult challenge at my expense once again. No matter what, I really like how the zerg race mechanic works. Since then, I've been working on my mechanic very hard. I think my hotkeys are perfectly suited for me as it is now and I think I can macro pretty much well considering my actual level of play.
Perhaps you detected some bad spellings, bad sentence structures or simply expressions that sound just wrong; it's quite possible. That is my secondary objective : improving my english. While I think my english is not bad, not writting texts for a while made me a bit rusty and I felt writing a little wound't hurt.

I played my share of placement matches as Terran and I lost all 5 of my placement matches which brought me to Bronze. Like you, I made the switch to Zerg and after a few practices against the AI, I realize that the Zerg plays a bit more intuitively as long as you are pretty good with macro and I was able to ascend 20 ranks after a few games. Then again, most of the players within my division have 0 points making it easier to ascend them anyway. XD

I feel pretty much the same as you. I don't really care about sports at all but watching the pros play SC2 gets me excited ^^
SC2 is the first RTS game I'm really trying to get into and having not played them before, I really suck at it and just like you, I also chose zerg because of the mechanics and interesting playstyle! ^^

just a tip.. until your in at least masters maybe high diamond, your macro sucks and tell your self that and practice the shit out of that. basically practice only macro with good unit comp until maybe platinum then i think you'll need some strategy to win. but im high diamond and my macro is very badddddddd..... i win macro games but... it is still just so bad when i see pros play.
or you could always six pool ever game but i don't recommend that.

Even when your at the top 10 of masters, your macro still sucks : ( If you get really good macro, you can probably get into masters without problem.

Oh I'll never six pool, I wanna learn to play not to cheese!
And don't worry, my macro improved, but I know it still sucks! ^_^
