I played a Korean on ICCUP today. After I beat him, he asked for a rematch. And then, after I beat that rematch, he asked for a third game. In each game, he did the exact same build order.

Each time, he annoyed me by placing an engineering bay where my hatchery should have gone. Each game, I made numerous mistakes (including losing an overlord, or a drone to a scv.....). Yet, with all that going against me, I still found a way to win.

Game 3 was quite entertaining. I guess this is why the pros don't build e-bays when they do a 1 rax FE.....

Lol.. very nice. I always thought the ebay blocking trick was way less useful than a pylon block, and this somewhat confirms it.

lol all those games were short. im guessing you over ran him over with lings before he could get bats and meds out

Only watched game 3, but that chat was pretty entertaining throughout. I kept switching your vision on and off, and was laughing so hard when he went "yay" or something along those lines when he got your drone out of his base, and yet his was only an inch away from a hatch morphing in under his nose.

Lol. That "yes" was when he killed my overlord

Dumb mistake by me, and I was so close to reaching safety too.....

Wow... 100ish APM... and C-.. I am amazed... Coz when i was at C- i remember running into quite a few hardcore 300 APM players with rediculous mechanics (not spam, solid multitasking, harrase, micro and macro, though i believe they are smurfs.) How do you manage late game? (coz i know early game you can get away with good decision making, but late game you need solid macro and micro + sometimes defending drops, and you need to multi-front. I just can't imagine a 100 APM player doing it.)

It's quite easy to simply send a dozen lings to an expo of his every once in a while. 2 actions, done once every minute, and he chews up 50 or so defending it. That kind of stuff helps a lot. That and small drops - takes 3 or 4 actions, if you do it properly, and it's whole purpose is jut to annoy him. It allows me to focus on the more important things.

EDIT - here's a pic of BWChart showing my apm for all of my games last season..... ~150 of them were Ladder games, and at least 20 more were during our 2 LAN's in Ottawa.
