Did anyone watch this movie? I'm a Street Fighter fan and a sucker for crossover movies, but I'd never heard of it before.
There are three noticeable facts about it that make me want to watch the DVD:
1) It's about Street Fighter, and Chun-li, my favorite character from the franchise. 2) It stars Kristin Kreuk, who's one of those sneaky good-looking types. 3) It got an astonishingly low 4% on Rotten Tomatoes http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/street_fighter_the_legend_of_chun_li/# with comments like "worst movie of all time" and "not at all fun."
What's my point with this? Just that I would expect TeamLiquid.net to be the Chun Li movie's core fan base, so am surprised I haven't seen it posted here already.
It's one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Just unbelievably bad. There's all those movies that are so bad they are funny, like Troll 2 and various 80s movies like American Ninja. This isn't one of them, this is just brutal, it should be studied in a lab somewhere to figure just how this happens, how money is spent to have something like this made.

You expect the members of a site dedicated to one of the most complex, deep, and demanding RTS games of all time to like a movie that "looks awful"?
It has been sitting on my disks for a while now, pondered watching it a few times. I can dig bad campy movies but this just seems TOO bad. I'll probably give a try anyway, though. ^^

Man, can you believe that? I mean she became famous because of that helicopter kick Kids like me back in the day would pause the game just to check what color her undergarment's are, (which is always blue btw) then stare and marvel her head over panty-kicking technique which is distracting for the opponent part since he wants to take a peak.
that's why this director killed chun li and they want to make a sequel? oh jeez

Yeah I also have this, I think someone lent it to me dad, it's been sitting there for a while now and I don't think anyone plans on watching it, I don't want to subject myself to unnecessary pain.
I may just save this for one of those nights where my friends and I are utterly bored and just feel like talking crap about a movie whilst we are watching it.
Lol I didn't mind it too much. It was pretty bad but in an awesomely bad way. Like Dragonball Evolution, just set your brain to mindless and check it out.
I love watching really bad movies... I just make fun of them with my friends and we all have a good time. Plus, Chun Li is hot so that makes it good eye candy too!
