[W] HDCP: It hates you. ASUS: it hates you. WHY.

Monokeros United States2493 Posts August 06 2009 13:58 GMT #1 So I have a 226BW Monitor, somewhere I'm sure it claims to support HDCP, it doesn't So I buy a new monitor a nice and "sexy" (and by sexy i mean DOA) ASUS VW246H HDMI monitor. ITS (as previously mentioned) DEAD ON ARRIVAL. Well it flashed HDMI DVI AND VGA like it was looking for input, gave up and never turned on again. WHY DOES THIS BOTHER ME? BECAUSE THE ONLY THING I CAN OUTPUT FOR MY NEW PS3 IS AN OLD ANALOG TV WITH PIXELS THE SIZE OF MY FISTS. Even if I HAD Blu-Ray it might was well me some VHS movie. Even if I have the awesome 1080p potential and awesome PS3 graphics it looks like I just got a PS1 with a fancy menu screen! ARGGGGGGGGGGG The [W] is CAPITIAL W FOR WHINING, FML. at least my mp3 player works, though the sound quality is borked and crackles whenever its loading a new song, oh and I can only pick one song and then it never lets me return to the main menu unless I turn it off...
