Not really a fan of his show on HBO, but the trailer for this documentary had intrigued me.
Bill Maher travels around and confronts the religious and spiritual with arguments against their faith. This movie has a different sort of parodying than a similar themed documentary "Jesus Camp". It's quite funny and worth a view for those with two hours to spare.
what about eastern religions? they are extremely old (like hinduism). Then according to this means all of that is fake... yet they are finding evidence that some of the major religion's stories are true O_O. Maybe the stories are the true, but then some high authorities added some bs for more money or control or something.

jesus camp was probably the scariest movie i've seen. brain washed kids is nothing to fuck with (niether is wu-tang clan hahaha). the end credits were a huge wtf moment
I thought Religulous would be painful to watch for me. For the most part, when I see people talk about atheism, I feel embarrassed for them. I agree with them, but I still almost always end up thinking they're really stupid. A similar thing happens when I hear someone say "correlation does not imply causation."
But anyways, I ended up finding it very enjoyable to watch, so maybe that means everyone can enjoy it no matter their beliefs.
It's been a few years since I saw Jesus Camp, but I remember it bumming me out pretty hard. I think this documentary is in the same vein: The Most Hated Family in America.
Im watching jesus camp and its disturbing me. Everytime it lets the children talk it just seems their staring into the wall brainwashed talking non-stop christian beliefs. Not saying christianity is bad but THAT much religion is bad imo. Their not even allowed to have their own beliefs :/
