I thought about this. I even thought about it in relation to LT. Then I dropped it. These maps are hard to balance they keep looking forced/botched and it is better to start a map from scratch picking up ideas from older maps. See the faatasy maps that were a fad for a while. I like 256x256 maps but only in FFA's.
Keep the ideas going and learn to refine and test your ideas.
