ICCup Adventure 1

This is a PvP on Python with me at 6 O'clock and him at 3 O'clock.


He starts off with a proxy 2 gate.



Fortunately, I decided to go 2 gate this game. His zealots eventually met mine and we had a mini duel. He even tried to do a proxy shield battery rush as can be seen by this pylon being built outside my base.



I manage to drive him away due to my gateways being nearer to all the action and I had ahead start on my tech by getting my core way earlier than him.


He starts cranking up cannons in his base, probably assuming some sort of counter attack with DTs and what not.



When I got a few goons, I rushed up his ramp and saw that he had gone for DTs. Due to my own folly, I failed to get detection up earlier. In the mean time, he had a counter attack with zealots in my main base.



And then came the DTs...



His BM.



Feeling quite frustrated and unwilling to concede, I sneak up a base with the remaining minerals and probes that I had to get it up and running.



You could say it was my day but I just manage to get up my first cannon when his DT spots my base.



Meanwhile, he gets the natural expansion as he took my initial main base which was half-mined out.



I spotted it and attacked it right away.



I then got a reaver and got his remaining probes.



He concedes.
