I thought 2NE1 didn't stand a chance after releasing the pile of shit that was Fire. But then I hear the song so goddamn much now... The incubation period while it infested in our brains is apparently over now and I fear a full blown 2NE1 epidemic breaking out soon

Their songs are ALL SO BAD! Fire sucks and so does Lollipop and CL is so ugly and sucks at rapping. But Sandra Park looks fantastic when her hair is not up in the air with her retarded pigtails style.
And Afterschool should be AfterGradSchool or some shit cause they're like 25 and the leader is like 30
There's also that Women's Generation song with members from Davichi, Seeya and T-ara. It's pretty popular and the song's alright, but their clothing is really just atrocious. They look like a female version of Shinee, ignoring the fact that the members of Shinee are really feminine themselves.
Honestly... I want T-ara or Davichi to be the most successful, although one of my two favorite members left T-ara group already (and who the fuck is Jeon BoRam). SeeYa's in flux too cuz of NGR's antics.

Riding Big Bang's publicity will only get them so far. Not much competition from other groups right now, which is why they're at the top.

Haha they were bad weren't they... oh man but PL finals SNSD yuck lol. I dunno 2NE1 won their first Mutizen on Inky Gayo going up against Shinee, SuJu, and SeeYa/Davichi/JiYeon combo so that's impressive enough, albiet the competition listed there is different compared to going up against KARA, SNSD, and WG. If I'm right SM loves throwing their Male and Female Idol groups apart from each other, thats why when SuJu's up SNSD's on their downtime and vice versa.
But if earlier part of this year showed you anything, the competition is starting to open. If KARA can get some #1's, including a couple times over SNSD, plus Davichi won #1 couple times too, who knows.
Yep, they were pretty bad at the PL Finals, but I swear the mics that day were bad. Might have been the same reason at EVER, but I think that mighta had more to do with stadium design.
I dunno, I'm just not a fan of 2NE1. Winning one week on Inky is nice, but SNSD's 9 weeks straight on KBS is where it's at. Market is opening, with more and more groups entering, but some will eventually fizzle away (See BEG, SeeYa). Those groups that just aren't that good (See AfterSchool) won't garner the attention and the popularity. There's only a certain limited market out there. Plus, it's harder for newer groups to achieve the same kind of popularity that SNSD and the WGs have gotten the last two years.

Wonder Girls do suck live, because they have no talent either (anyone remember the Big Bang + Wonder Girls special? Jesus what a rape), but their catchy songs are VERY catchy thanks to JYP. Their studio work is pretty much perfect, whereas you can still tell 2NE1 sucks in their studio work.
I'm ashamed of you guys and the lack of votes for Kara. A band that has Han Seung Yeon, a girl who was an announcer for StarCraft MSL Break, and sat next to Hwasin in... (just watch the first minute or so)

Hope they can find another member. It's a shame they had to delay their next album because Nam Gyuri bailed on them. Cause unlike most groups, they can actually sing. Who knew it'd be this tough to find someone who can actually sing well.

BUt then again, when KARA went with their 5 member formation for the first time it was on M!Countdown too and it wasn't too good either...
F yes SNSD! I like Davichi and Kara but I hardcore love SNSD and can't wait for their new album. I also like Women's Generation and After School has some catchy songs but it's still not enough for me .

Wonder Girls are going to be touring with the Jonas Brothers soon and releasing an english version to Nobody.
Considering how most of the Jonas Brothers fans are teeny boppers, the Wonder Girls has a chance. Se7en is doing okay since his MV was featured on BET, but I dunno if he got enough votes for his MV to be on it again. BoA is still promoting in the states, but she jumps between America and Asia too much, which will slow down her progress.
