Both Infamous and Prototype are good but Infamous makes up in story and dialogue where it lacks in gameplay and vice versa for Prototype.
Assassin's Creed if you haven't played it yet. Dead Space is a great 3PS (better than RE 4/5 imo). You can download the demos for most of these games before you buy them by the way. For racing games I love Wipeout and Wipeout HD on is PSN or disc same as GT5: Prologue. If you want to wait a little Wipeout Fury and GT5 (both with much more content) are coming out later this year or next year. Red Faction: Guerrilla is a pretty fun 3PS. And if you really insist on playing FPS's on a console then Bioshock is an auto-buy. Also if you haven't played FF7 I highly suggest you buy it off the PSN store for $10, its one of the greatest RPG's ever and arguably the pinnacle of the Final Fantasy series of games (along with FF6 and FF: Tactics).
Great rental games are... Mirror's Edge Valkyria Chronicles (if you skip the cutscenes - they are terrible) X-Men Origins: Wolverine (pretty decent hack n slash) Star Wars: Force Unleashed
Anyway like I said earlier you can download the demo for nearly every game I listed and I highly suggest you try them out before you buy them to see what you like.

Again with the torrenting, stop fucking doing that shit. You're only hurting the gaming industry and encouraging developers and publishers to short-hand the consumers and release the bullshit DLC that should have been in the game already for obscene prices. Its YOU we have to blame for this bullshit.

sure people still buy games on PC, but games made specifically for the PC are all but extinct. Pretty much Blizzard is the only developer still doing it. The only reason SC2 isn't going to the consoles is because it'd just be TOO retarded to try to play it on a controller.

Disgaea 3 is amazing and doesn't require you to have played the previous ones to get things. It's lower price than most ps3 games and will give you more playtime + make you laugh out loud
Also, my copy of Street Fighter IV has 440 hours played on it without counting my gf or roommate's accounts. It's fun.
Marvel vs Capcom 2 will be out on psn in a couple weeks, that game is crack.
Haven't played infamous, people seem to like it.

No I wouldn't steal food or games for that matter. I'm not a fucking thief and I don't do those things off principle alone. If you do its because you're a fucking lowlife.
Also, I know you lied about Prototype:

And do you realize that i actually chose PS3 as my gaming console over 360 and wii, you can get their entire libraries in one day without paying a dollar, while you have to buy games for ps3. I bought over 20 fucking games, which costs plenty of money, i'm more of a video game industry supporter than most of the internet users.

Just started Persona 4 too and it's amazing. Both games are very unique and have great atmosphere and style, it's rarity. Strong story, interesting characters of course. That's like a new generation japanese rpg.

i am reiterating because how good the games are, i am basing my decision on which console i should get next as to which platform that persona 5 comes out on. if it comes out for the wii, i'll cop it on the chin and miss out on ff13, mgs4, gt5 etc. hopefully it will be a ps3 exclusive though.

I loved both games! They were one of my favorites!

LOL ign gave prototype a 7.5 and Infamous a 9.2. These guys dont know how to put scores. For example in the prototype review the guy always says that some moves are impossible to do etc (ex Cannonball).

Dead space is the best game on the PS3 for me. The sound is amazing (home theater ftw), probably its best quality, the ambience is unique, the 3rd person perspective is made for console play and i prefer it to 1st person shooters, simply because of all the character animations, whether when hes being attacked, having his limbs torn out or just limping while being low on health. The weapons are original, the monsters are great (even though the bosses are kinda easy, happens with most games nowadays) and youre in suspense the whole game. A ton of replayability too.
Ninja gaiden sigma if you want a challenge, best game of its kind (for the skill curve), otherwise Devil may cry 4, which is better imo than the rest of the DMC's.
GTA 4 is a fun game too, although i didnt personally enjoy the idea of killing a shit ton of people for no real reason, the action is rather easy, and you get to make a choice between letting someone live or die like 5 times in the game or something lol.
Call of duty: world at war, was fine as a fps, if you play the campaign (or split screen co-op) your friendly ai is terribad (2 enemies can walk in between your whole fucking army to kill you). Kind of like resistance except that in resistance you depend much less on your allies. But its a fun game to split screen on.
