like most dream theater albums it's a mixed bag, but I really enjoyed the first track, shattered fortress and the last track. Shattered Fortress seemed to be heavier than the rest, and the last track was just really good.

The last one is my favorite too. Amazing track.
#5 is good too, #1 is decent. The rest - do not want.

Honestly, I don't get how this band which is capable of producing incredible tracks releases this boring albums lately.

This music actually changed my life a little over the last years.

Dream Theater's a cool band, there's at least a couple songs that I like per album, I expect this one to be the same. Some of their songs are really boring and sound really mundane, but overall, the band has good stuff.

I've always liked their heavier stuff like most of the songs on Train of Thought, but I really hate all of their balladesque stuff.
Out of the new songs I like A Nightmare to Remember and The Shattered Fortress the best.
