When you do it too much, you end up in the situation you're now in. If you let yourself be defined by other people, what do you have left when they're gone? Re-inventing yourself isn't the answer, if you try to start from scratch you'll have a million things you wish you were and it'll seem like it's not working when you don't suddenly become them all. I think it'd be a good idea to steer clear of girls for the moment as it would appear that they're contributing to your problems. Spend some time doing things by yourself that you enjoy. Play something new, find some good music, read a new book. If you want to be independant it's important to take responsbility for your own happiness instead of looking to other people to provide it for you. You'll find it's a lot easier to feel confident about yourself and who you are when you're relaxed and you're not worrying about other people or what they think of you. Go out with your friends, enjoy their company and don't stress about things. When it comes to choosing a name, think about things you like or anything that inspires you, play around with words and don't choose something that'll easily lose it's meaning or worth to you. What's your favourite word? Your favourite animal, weapon, hobby, colour, sound, smell, book, taste, song? If all else fails, add some random capital letters to an awesome superhero's name and go with that. | ||
