So I finally decided that instead of playing on East I would try some Iccup. I knew about the server for a long time, but was never a competitive player and was playing mostly 2/2 or 1/1 pubs.
And it's really cool, I've reached C- rank for the first time ever and feels great. I don't know if it's possible but I'm aiming for C. I hope to get it and keep it this season.
I started playing new maps besides my East noobish Python, LT, Luna. And I really like Othello and Destination. IMHO Destination is very hard for zvp.
I think that mogulus stream users motivated me and helped me a lot, I enjoy watching all Z's, especially ret and lzgamer.
I would be updating my blog when I get some fun games or if I'll feel like it.

Even a C- gamer can stop a 5 pool. Hell on destination even a D+ could.
I'm C right now and I would never lose to a 5 pool on dest.
Only an idiot would suggest 5 pooling on a 2 player map. It will be scouted 100% of the time unless your opponent is trash.

Good job!, I like how you set your next goal at C. It's not much but its a much more realistic goal than A+ EZ 1 WEEK. Good luck on attempting to obtain it

Congradulations!
Getting into the C- rank and holding it is a definate sign that you are understanding and preforming most of your basic actions well.
The biggest thing for you to start learning is how to time your ling-> scourge -> hydra -> lurker -> 3 evos-> hive win a way that nullifies each stage of macro and tech that protoss achieves (of course this order can change!).
Congradulations. I recommend playing as much zvz as possible and avoiding sunkens to continue improving. Good mutalisk/zergling/scoruge micro is important in every matchup AND you'll learn how larva management works much quicker then overbuilding 50 drones in zvt/zvp!

I love Destination for ZvP. Protoss always begs to get contained on that map.

Yeah the map's amazing for contains, mostly cause of the bridges. Whether it's against T or P, it's so nice to constantly abuse those bridges to delay the opponent's troop movement and to encounter their army in an advantageous formation.

It's just so overwhelming sometimes after all the effort you put through you can't help but feel proud of yourself and express it. Yes, there may be a lot of those blogs, but it doesn't make the blogs themselves bad at all. After all, you don't have to comment.

If you see an iccup blog, and don't care, why click, its not like they have cleverly hidden titles.
I still remember when I hit b-, my blog got alot of support and it definately made me feel good when people understood the hard work I put into getting there.
