do you love your friends and family? and wish the best for them, even if you don't personally act upon it? are you unhappy? is what you are experiencing really a step down? I will tell you how everyone else gives a damn: they are caught up in stuff that doesn't matter, and one thing led into the next. most of them are addicted to sensation, addicted to chasing after the next thing they want. that's what life is for most people. most of them don't stop to think about it enough to ever slow down. and many of those who actually do end up discovering that they don't like being alone with theirselves, and go back to chasing. but this doesn't mean nothing matters. it is important for you to discern whether you don't care about anything, or don't care about most things. my gut says it is the latter.

Nothing anyone says or does will make a difference until you have hit rock bottom and have to eat shit to get your life back together. Only then will you appreciate what you had/have. So very true. Your not the only one, I'm sure there are many who feel just like you. The question is do you want to hit rock bottom (often it's not pretty and you would have lost a lot of time, time you could have spent doing something productive)

To find yourself in some place alone, with no friends, no family, no one by your side, and all you have is your self-made happiness and loneliness? maybe? I'm just talking out of my ass >_<

a 3.0 isnt something to be proud of? 0_0, i mean i've had a 3.8 avg's doing what you were doing... idk have some motivation. go find a girl you like, or like go exercise and try to get ripped. unless you dont have the motivation to look good or fall in love, then idk.

Having said that I experience the ol' I want to be great kinda bullshit sometimes too. I have recently found a few things in my life that I use my apathy to fuel(apathy gives me the time to do the things I enjoy.). You have to enjoy doing some things. The other things around you treat as you wish. However if you love doing some things, allow passion to flow through you into your work. Before you know it, you will be damn good at something or another and enjoy doing it. At least that's what i hope. If you are truly 100% apathetic I recommend taking potent hallucinogenic drugs. These will rip you out of apathy for the most part. (although this is a last resort as any physical removal to a problem should be.)

And obviously you were not the level of apathetic that I am. I made a 100 on all my tests but my homework is 15-30% in all my classes. Im sure you can do the math. Maybe you got luck and homework counted as 0%???

I guarrantee if you smoke a good bowl you will be involved in some shit for at least a few hours On May 18 2009 12:08 funkie wrote: To find yourself in some place alone, with no friends, no family, no one by your side, and all you have is your self-made happiness and loneliness? maybe?
