lol @ the comments on the oprah site
KFC IS TAKING EVERYONE FOR A RIDE. I THOUGHT A RAIN CHECK WAS ONLY GIVEN WHEN THEY DO NOT HAVE THE EXACT ITEM IN STOCK. WHAT A RIPE OFF. I HOPE OPERA WAS NOT IN ON THIS SCAM.
i wanna hear stories, yeah they literally posted signs and shit on their register counters.
What did you have to fill up?
Yeah, same thing happened to me.
Bastards.
don't get it, please elaborate
How cheap are you people? Did you actually atleast buy something while there? Please tell me you didn't go there and not actually get anything. The two piece grilled chicken meal is like 4 dollars plus a soft drink and tax.
EDIT: I haven't tried the grilled chicken, is it good?

God damn, dude, same shit happened to me, I almost actually ripped the other thing I had to fill out in the managers face. Fuck, this had me mad, specially in Texas when 30% of the people in my town are black and we only have 2 kfc's/1popeys I wasn't even able to buy a normal meal.

LOL. 30% is huge man! yeah im waiting for this "rain check" ... bastards.

He probably meant fill out the paper where they will send you a coupon later supposedly.
Are you saying "fill it up" instead of "fill it out" for completing a form? I've never heard that language usage before and I think it's confusing people.
about 60% black where i live. 1/3 of them are in jail though, so it seems less.
I bought a bucket of grilled chickens. It was goods. Was supplemented by a pot of rice I put in the cooker earlier. Mmm tasty
lol, this happened to me too

Not many black people in this part of Texas. Easily less than 5%, maybe even less.

I wouldn't want to buy anything either if my coupon was denied :/

When someone lures me into a store with a coupon deal and then can't honor it, I feel cheated. Definitely wouldn't give them actual business for lying to me like that. Don't see why you would.
I was even more put off because I called ahead of time to try to make sure I didn't go only to find out they couldn't do it, but they didn't answer the phone either.
Not only am I not buying a regular meal from there, I won't in the future (not like I could afford that shit anyway though lol).

I heard it's basically the same as store-bought rotisserie chicken, which is probably a cheaper deal.

Instead of making crappy blogs like this, let's get the "You Have Been Deserted" thing back. I really liked those and am sorely disappointed by the lack of any reemergence.
