I'm a loyal fan of the DJ Max series, having played the online version (until it got shut down, stupid netmarble), as well as ALL the PSP versions - DJ Max Portable 1, DJ Max Portable 2, DJ Max Portable Clazziquai Edition, DJ Max Portable Black Square and DJ Max Fever.
Don't know about DJ Max Technika, don't think Singapore will ever be importing them T_T
My favourite up til now is still Black Square, because they have great new songs, such as Fermion, Heart of Witch, Son of Sun and Super Lovely, as well as bringing back nice songs such as Soul of Space, Nightmare and Supersonic.
The Link Disc function is pretty kickass, allowing you to play 8B on Clazziquai. The new HD versions of the songs and 8B mode is pretty fun to play on, especially since Clazziquai has a few nice songs (Creator, Flea, etc)
For DJ Max Portable 1, I've cleared all the clubs, for Portable 2, I've cleared all except "Just 1%" (crazy mission, almost impossible to clear), for Clazziquai, I've cleared all but I have yet to start on the newly unlocked Season 2. For Black Square, I'm stuck at Club 'Black Square' with only 2 missions cleared. Jeez, that club is so damn hard. (The closest I can get clearing after the other 2 I've cleared is DJ Anubis). DJ Max Fever is basically American-version of DJ Max Portable 2, easier and with songs changed.

Ahh, I remember playing DJ MAX online. I loved that game. I was a "non-premium user" for most of my level and payed for premium for a month. I rember I was like lv27? or so. I only played 5 keys so Im no pro. Too bad they got rid of the online vesion

Hmm there's an O2Mania English version now, that's nice. I remember using the Chinese version and having a bitch of a time with it, haha.
I played lots of O2Jam back when e-games Malaysia operated it, and I've been a beatmania fan for a very long time. I have a really expensive DDR pad hooked up to a computer with every single song in Stepmania as well.
I've never played DJ Max though. It's pretty much the same thing as beatmania/o2jam right?

Yes, except IMO, DJ Max has better songs. I play mostly on my PSP though. People go 'whoa' when I play it on public trains and buses

l like Y , Blythe, Electronics, Love mode and most clazziquai songs. I don't remember them all

Ah, Blythe is good song, used all the way from the Online version til DJ Max Fever.
Some clazziquai songs are slow, but most are pretty okay :D
Btw, they need a higher level of 'First Kiss' (MX version or HD version, 8B), that's a nice song

Some good songs really need HD/MX versions, kinda wasted as level 5~10-ish songs.
