I've been playing SC for 6 months now, exactly starting November 10, 2008. Since then, I've met a lot of people(online mostly), random friendly people on iCCup, friends from [BDC] and my fellow filipinos.
Since I tagged along my fellow filipinos, they were all helpful, even the BM ones, even when I was BM, they were still friendly, they all helped me out, when I needed their help.
But there was this one, particular person, who helped me no matter what, we had lots and lots of practice, he helped me improve my PvZ, and encouraged me to do better, so I thank him for all of that, I even believe that without him, I wont be D+ right know..
Sadly, last wednesday, we had a game, PvZ of course, where my cousin, suddenly, showed me a picture of him being gay... After like 2 seconds, It just pictured in my head that I actually TYPED my reaction in-game "Eww. My Cousin Is Gay", which apparently set my friend of, and believed that I was telling him, that he was gay, even thought it ain't.
Anyway, the very next day, we had an SC meet-up, but he didn't show up, It came into my mind that he's furious and just plainly hates me. I tried to apologize, via messenger, but it seems that he ignored me.
Well, he then announced that he's quitting SC (most likely because of me  ), and now, my other friends are slowly following him..
Now, I figured, since I ruined someone's life, I might as well ruin mine...
All I can say is...

the only guy here (Ph) who got his gay pics shown all over the net was not lurkerdesu...

and after reading what he wrote at PSC, yeah I pretty much guess he's pissed. Some other guys are following his leave from eXo.
I thought this was another rant entry....lol..

So even if he's gay and finds it offensive that you find gays to be disgusting which you might or might not but unintentionally implied from what you said to him during the game I don't see how that would lead to him quitting unless the only reason him and others played was so that they could have online group homoerotic meetings in the guise of playing SC.

I can't believe this. If this guy's getting all pissed off and almost quitting StarCraft because a guy he met online simply spelled out 5 words then, I don't even want to know who the fuck he is.

I think there's some sort of a misunderstanding. I don't think anyone who has been playing SC for a number of years would quit just because someone called him gay
