Jeez how do you guys play sc when you are sick? When I'm sick I can barely get out of bed (once every other year or so; also get colds about once or twice a year).

I always get sick at certain exact dates every year. It's become a ritual, what I do. Every day I binge the hotttest Pho soup for lunch and Japanese food and wasabi to clear my nose and throat for dinner (it's pretty amazing how well it works). Along the way, I'm on a continuous sugar high from drinking too much orange juice, which is great(and bad) for playing games until you pass out. Too bad drowsy medicine makes for bad ICCUPing, so I end up Smashing or Diablo2ing with roomies. Dunno if you wanna follow my plan, but it makes being sick a little more fun.

I can't remember ever getting a cold. Got a crazy stomach flu once but that's about it

Drink alot of water. Eat garlic. Drink tea with honey and/or lemon. I hear eating chili peppers also helps, but I have never tried that..

I've had tonsilitis off and on for about a month now. It was real bad 3 weeks ago when I had huge migraines (wouldn't let me sleep for 3 days), fever, sore throat, and chills at the same time. Now I just have the sore throat but it's still a pain.

i just drink a lot of water and sleep. like sleep at 9 and you'll feel much better in the morning. i was sick recently with a fever and i slept at 9 for like 3 days and got better without any tylenol or anything lol

what i do is: honey+water+lemon mixture. Drink 1L/2h and something to get fever down. I basically force my body to get rid of the shit asap. Normally i dont eat with a cold, just rest + mass liquid (beer is good too). Just sleep-drink 1L -pee (dont forget this!) and back to sleep. In 2 days you get as good as new.

damn, this just happened to me. Sore throat + fever. My mom gave me some chinese herbal medicine and it was gone in two days.
