This song was a collaboration between CYON and YG Entertainment to promote their new Lollipop phone.
Thus meaning this is was a chance for a collaboration between popular Korean boyband Big Bang (G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, Seungri) and YG Entertainment's new female group dubbed the 'female Big Bang' 2NE1 (To Any One) (CL, Park Bom, Gong Min-ji and Sandara Park).
This is essentially 2NE1's debut into the Korean music scene.
Alright enough with the introduction; 2NE1 look like total dorks
Now the question is, will 2NE1 piggyback Big Bang into the charts and be successful? Or will they flop and just become another crappy Korean pop group.

Wow, that was the worst song I've heard in a long time, I bet it will rank high in the korean charts.
Another thing I find disturbing is how they dress up and promote those girls like products. I mean yeah, that's how you do it in the pop industry everywhere, but Korea just seems to have taken this to another level.

I'm kind of disappointed in this - I love how they're experimenting with really crazy styles recently and pushing the boundaries of weirdness in terms of fashion. Unfortunately for me the song is kind of generic.

Remember this is just for a commercial... although Park Bom / G Dragon's song for the Anycall commercial was a LOT better. They're gonna be the best female group out there, besides Sandara Park everyone can perform on stage vocally.
Well, this is just a song to promote the phone isn't it? We don't know if 2NE1 will actually go with this style or not. Their "real" debut will be in May when the official music video will be released. Knowing YG Entertainment (a very westernized company), 2NE1 might actually be a female version of Big Bang. I say that because American dance choreographers such as Shaun Evaristo, Aimee Lucas, and Lyle Beniga are pretty much the official choreographers for YG since they've done past work for Big Bang, Gummy, and other non-YG aritsts like Uhm Jung-Hwa. Not to mention Shaun and Aimee are notable for their creative and smooth choreography for Big Bang's "Number 1", "With U" and Tae Yang's "Only Look at Me" and "Prayer".
What is annoying to me is that people keep labeling 2NE1 as the "female Big Bang" because I want this group to have an identity for themselves. Just because they're part of YG Entertainment and are being supervised by American choreographers and G-Dragon doesn't make them a female version of Big Bang.
I hope this group doesn't flop, but it's possible because YG Entertainment is known for failed girl groups like Swi.T, Big Mama, and solo artist Lexy. =X

No offense, but G-Dragon didn't write most of Big Bang's songs. He is an AMAZING song writer and producer, but he gets too much credit. I say that because Big Bang as a group, contribute ideas to each of their songs. Besides that, ever since the debut of Big Bang, G-Dragon has been the center of attention for plagiarism.
The song isn't that great and it seems like they really want this group to be a female version of Big Bang (god, I hate how people compare them, but I guess it's true now). I mean they even dress like them in the street version. CL = G-Dragon, Minzy = Dae Sung, Sandara = TOP, Park Bom = Tae Yang, Seung-ri.
Funny how both songs use autotune (some parts for korean version). I read that this song is just a commercial for a phone coming out that's coming out in Korea. It's called Lolipop, but I'm not sure which company is making it. I don't find mainstream Korean music bad at all, mostly because I don't know what they're saying XD It's pretty catchy.
