It’s not really a new image — recall that kpop singer Younha had also unveiled a more feminine look for her second album last summer. And Younha (aka the “Oricon comet” given her success on Japan’s pop charts before debuting in Korea) has always been very pretty. But she’s gone a little softer than her usual tomboyish look for this “lovely girl” concept for her new album release.
Her third full-length album is titled “Peace Love & Ice Cream” (something I can get behind!) and goes on sale on April 16. From descriptors, we can expect more of the same (modern rock, ballads, and acoustic pop) from the pop-rock vocalist — which, in Younha’s case, is a very good thing.
Meanwhile, her Japanese movie Next Sunday, in which she takes on the role of a Korean woman studying in Japan, will be released on the 11th in Japan; she’ll head to Osaka for promotional events on the 11th and 12th.
I really love Younha's songs, been a fan since I heard 혜성 (Comet)and got all of her albums. I'm not really liking the "new image" and the one song that was on YouTube called "123" though. I heard the whole song while it was still up on YouTube but it taken down because of copyright violations. No idea how they obtained the song before the album is out haha.
It seriously sounds like it comes from a children's show or something lol. However, Younha's albums never disappoint me, I'm sure the other songs will be great!
Back on topic, she had many appearances with Epik High, the Tablo Rap Remix for Memory was great. And her new look doesnt fit her as well as... + Show Spoiler +
that new song is ok except for that jakson 5 rip off hook. I've enjoyed all her previous albums, so ill give this next one a shot of curse. i just hope heyre better than that...
I like younha more when she was in japan, I think her hair was better there.
Her hair/makeup got worse when she returned to korea for audition and password ### (it was still ok at this point), but then she cut her hair short and now she looks like some aunt.

I love younha, she's one of my favorite artists. But to be honest, her albums keep getting worse and worse Her first and second Korean albums are the best IMO, in that order.
Gossip Girl was so-so (not to mention her album concept, her short hair looked disgusting and her clothing style was plain odd), so I'm just hoping this album will break the pattern

first of all, michael jackson rules and is (was) a really exceptional song writer (along with quincy jones, the dude who he wrote thriller with). if you enjoy pop and dont realize this, you're already a lost cause.
second of all, please tell me what she is selling out
ive said it before: while i am no kpop expert, everything i have encountered on tl tells me that everything about kpop is completely contrived from day to day, minute to minute, image to image - and the audience knows and enjoys this. what exactly is she 'selling out'?
that said, i just listened to the full length song and it is completely abc123 by the jackson 5 only significantly worse. pretty funny/unsubtle steal there.
