[H] Brief help transliterating Russian

Track United States217 Posts April 06 2009 16:10 GMT #1 I need some help pronouncing the Russian letters KГБ. This is what I suspect it sounds like, komitiev goe-soo-darr-venn-oy beh-zo-pas-nos-tiy. Any Russian speakers care to correct me on this?

Random() Kyrgyz Republic1462 Posts April 06 2009 16:34 GMT #2 It's pronounced like "Ka Geh Beh", or "Keh Geh Beh". And the full phrase would be "ko-mee-teth goe-soo-durst-ven-noy beh-zo-pas-nos-tee", which means "The Comittee for State Security".
