iCCup 2v2 with lan

Hi, trying to play some 2v2 with a friend of mine on iCCup. We're connected to the same network and can't join the same game because of it. How to fix? D:

I believe that you can't be in the same game in bnet if you both are on the same local network. Probably same for iccup. Me and my brother tried, but once game started there was massive lag and we dropped. Kinda sucked, but my brother who is very skilled with computers found a work around the problem, so it was solved. Took him quite some time to fix it though, and I don't know what he did.

You might want to check out the iccup forums or rules and see if you can do that, I remember mai-k or that russian admin saying you can't play in the same game from the same IP period.

My roommates and I plan to tackle this same problem soon since one of them became interested in 2v2s after seeing the Valio thread. We've by no means solved it, but google found this thread which we plan to follow:

It's on bwhacks but has nothing to do with hacking/cheating. I'm not down with that business at all. The guide concerns manually configuring your router to fix the lag issue... specifically configuring something called NAT. I haven't gone through it yet, so let me know if it works for you.
