Hello everyone I need some help.

I used to eat these snack/cake things when I was little, usually for sale in asian grocery stores(In Australia). Theres 3 layers white yellow white. The yellow layer is mushy and delicious. They come in little rectangular clear-packets.

If anyone can help me with the name of these or somewhere that sells them online would be great.

Also feel free to share your favourite asian snacks/desserts here.

sorry you need to be a little more clear on the white part

is it a cracker, soft cake like thing, bread etc?

It's like a soft cake thing, I think the label on the packaging might be pink too. Sorry for being vague I really can't remember it's been well over 10 years since I've eaten them.

A lot of those look great but not what I was searching for yet. They come in clear see-through packaging with a small pink label. About the size of a digital camera/oldphone (width : 1inchx length : 3inch height : 1inch).

Is it some Nonya/Chinese Peranakan Snacks? You could do a search on those terms.. (By the way, asian is a REALLY vague term, might want to specify the ethnicity of it).

After googling for a while I've found what sounds like it, but no photos. Hope this helps narrow it down, thanks a lot for all the replies so far.

"Chinese Cake made with sticky rice (white layers) and a cream of pureed split mung beans (yellow layer), flavored with banana essence"

I knew exactly what you were talking about in first post. lol I hate those. Only delicious with a beverage preferably tea. The white part kind of tastes like chalk I assume. There are different fillings though. I like durian or any kind of beans.

these things are all over china... korean snacks in chinese labels. i always thought Orion was a chinese company.. but its a korean moon pie rip off... oily and delicious though.

Pretty different actually, if you are talking about the pictures that the OP tossed up. Assuming I am thinking of the right thing, the white layers are made completely differently from mochi/mua ji. Actually at that I didn't know these even come in mass produced forms, always just see them at some bakeries.

To OP, I am pretty sure I recognize the picture, though I am not too sure as to the name, will try to ask around to see. Just in case, can you describe what the white part was like? Consistency, texture, etc.
