I'm looking for some music to listen to when I do work. Mostly in the classical vein. I'm pretty much a noob about classical music, so I don't really know much anything about composers and music. Right now, I'm finding that Beethoven pieces and Yiruma work very well, but I want to know if there's anything else that works for you guys, or that you would suggest.
you'd probably like beethoven's violin concerto mendelssohn's and tchaikovsky's are overplayed violin concertos that you're expected to know if you listen to any classical music at all
Maybe Mozart piano sonatas/concertos. Handel's "Water Music" is nice and calm. Bach's music supposedly rouses and stimulates the brain. I like Sergei Prokofiev... he really puts a lot of emotion and romanticism into his music, so if you're doing creative writing or something that might be good. Just experiment, with the internet all the music is at your fingertips for free.
