I believe that the odds of there being life in the universe besides us are irrelevant due to an inability for us to do anything with them.

Arghh, you beat me to it.

The term UFO doesn't mean alien! Unidentified Flying Object.
Build something completely random, and shoot it into the earth's atmosphere. No one knows what it is, and it burns up. There you go, you have just created (and destroyed) an (a?) UFO.

EDIT: That's kinda weird... Would you use 'an' or 'a' for UFO? If you say it entirely, you would use an, but a for "Yoo Eff Oh." Also, for "unanimous decision", would you use a, or an. I'm assuming you use the one that sounds better for speech, but... traditionally, an for vowels, a for consonants... Weird.

No, we can abduct them and steal their technology and patent it for billions.

guesstimating that there are a few hundreds billion galaxies, and a few hundred billion stars in each of them, it is probable that there are other solar systems supporting intelligent life as we know it. but i think if we had alien spacecraft visiting us we should have had conclusive proof by now instead of conspiracy theories and blurry videos.

I have no doubt that UFO's (alien spacecraft) exist, but I highly doubt they will ever come anywhere near earth.

Ah yes George and Art are great, I was a faithful listener untill I moved to the midwest (comes on too late here for me most nights ) But I still listen over the net n' stuff..

Have you heard of Bill Jenkins? Ive just discovered him recently, he hosted essentially the same radio show - called Open Mind - in the 1980's (no official connection). Im not sure if hes still alive but you can find the a torrent of all his shows if your intrested. I would say he heavily inspired Art.

With the size of the universe I find it very likely that life evolved elsewhere, who knows in what form though. The distances in the universe are too great to ever encounter them anyway -.-

i think there was a thread about universe constantly expanding with the speed that is greater then speed of light
basically things that still could be noticed will be impossible to reach
if there was anything remotely close( visible at least) its fading into infinity anyways making future contact even less likely

its for whether it sounds like a consonant or vowel
It a UFO (but an unifentified flying object)
an hour (not a hour even though its an h (haha))
an heir
a unanimous decison (for the same reason you wouldn't say an yukelele)
an upset

OK, I've come back with more research on UFO clouds.
They're called lenticular clouds and are sometimes mistaken for UFOs.

Can't find any ones that look like UFOs but are still large enough for desktop backgrounds, though.

Agreed. The odds are pretty high for some protozoa to chill around on some planet in the universe. The odds are pretty low for E.T. like Aliens abducting humans just to do some anal exams.

I know of a couple

This one's a lenticular cloud but doesn't really look like a UFO, still cool though

yeah actually i have heard of him, through Art Bell mentioning him being a reason for the startup of West Coast AM before it was Coast to Coast AM (maybe somewhere in The Quickening? not sure), though i haven't heard his show. i'll look into it, thanks

Unless UFOs take the shape of clouds.

I believe that life out there is extremely possible, but who's to say it's similar to ours? For all we know there could be planets existing covered with entirely "animal-like" aliens, that run on instinct and has no clear society. And then again there could be many that have civilized life, whether it be more or less advanced than our own. So many possibilities, and I believe there are many different kinds, in many different corners of the universe.
