And I'm also amazed you could remember all that. I don't think I've had a dream I could actually remember for a good 2 years, although I used to have pretty frequent nightmares as well. I woke up a couple nights ago in the middle of the night and was scared shitless (figuratively), 5 seconds later I couldn't remember why and went back to sleep. I remember a dream a couple years ago where I was an SCV, haven't been able to recreate it though despite my best efforts.. | ||

It seemed that I didn't dream of anything and then got up in the morning went to the kitchen have breakfast, but then suddently I wake up to realize that I was just dreaming of waking up. I look arounf me and see remember the the room was totally different in the dream and its now right. Again I get up start doing some normal shit just to wake up "for real" again. This goes on and on and every time I "wake up" I am certain that this time it is for real. After a crap load of iterations I finally wake up and then I was really certain its for real. Very strange experience left me with a WTF feeling for the rest of the day. I've had some more strange shit but it wouldnt make sense out of context | ||

You know right before the really ugly and scary shit happens. Anyway, a nice way to get out of dreams in general, granted you "know" or feel its a dream, is to look at your hands. If you do that, you wake up right away..at least I do. Another thing is if you're having a sex dream and you're about to wake up..that sucks hard, I know, but if you start running in circles, you can dream longer :D | ||
