Then you're not very good at connect 4 Starting at the edge basically does nothing for you. You limit yourself by playing there first. So much in fact it gives player 2 the advantage. | ||

@ post above me: yes, but its still a "never loosing" strategy. Better yet, taking corner first has many pathways where you can win if your opponent makes one bad move. | ||
