Good news: Today was the semi-final round of the concerto competition at my university. The pool started off with about 90 of the best players, and they widdled that down to eight for the semi-finals today.
I performed my piece, and I was fairly content with my performance, but I didn't expect to go onto the final round of the competition because I am a Saxophonist up against pianists and violinists (who are usually the most virtuostic/musical players) And that they cut the pool down from eight to four.

So I get to play in the Concerto Competition Finals Concert tomorrow. It's an open concert to the public so it'll be exciting since this is the first time I get to perform a big solo work for an audience.
The winner gets to perform their concerto with a full orchestra, which is an amazing experience.
Bad news: The concert is during the same time as Liquibition!!!! 
...I guess I can catch the VODs later

Congrats, you can always watch the VODs for Liquibition but you don't get many chances to perform like this.

I've finally figured it out, it's probably for having the lowest post per day of an active poster. Just a hypothesis.

 congrats on advancing, good luck in the next round. I actually am playing a couple duets for a friend's recital tomorrow, but thankfully it doesn't conflict with liquibition.

I wonder how he decides which threads to post in? I mean he can only post once every 5 days. Maybe he just comes after each 5 days and posts in the first thread he sees.

Haha funny. The clarinet may be an awesome instrument, but piano is the clear winner (my being a piano has in no way affected this opinion). After that comes brass instruments (my being a former brass player has in no way affected this opinion).
Anywho, good luck on your performance StarN, break some bones.

he slayed me with a probe and a couple DTs, trapped all my units outside my base with offensive pylons at my ramp
