So I'm at Dreamhack atm (biggest LAN in the world, over 10'000 visitors)
They have 16 computers here with Starcraft 2 and I have played it all day today together with Gosugamers crew and other friends and before this day I was extremely sceptic to Starcraft 2, but now...
I cant stop play it!!!  Its such an awesome game! It's just like Starcraft Brood War but newer graphics (that you get used to very fast). I'm playing it 24/7 with my friends, cant stop!! We discuss build orders and counters.
Things we've found so far:
- Hydras are very very strong and rape any form of marine / medivac combo.
- Mass tanks are good vs hydras (lol)
- Helions suck vs zerg T_T
- Marauders are insanely strong TvP and TvT
- Mass stalkers are very very good PvZ
We gonna play a lot more, stay tuned for more!

I'm here at dreamhack too, and I also thought that it would be hard to play much when there is just 16 comps.. but you can play all day, no line at all.
Also, starcraft 2 is awesome! So much fun! :D Have been playing all day and gonna play alot more.

And yeah, why isn't there a line up for sc2?

No they didnt, but they will have a broodwar tourney next time (summer 09).
They have a SC2 tour here tho Almost every SC player on dreamhack has joined it (not that many tho....)

haha cant even get out of the SC2 game
its not even a main menu in SC2, you can just chose race and then click play and you get a random opponent.

Dreamhack consists of 99% WoW-tards, that's why there's no line to the SC2 computers. Can't really see the logic in playing WoW at LANs, a huge fkin waste imo, but that's the way it is. They travel to the LAN, they build up their anticipation, they start hyping it amongst themselves, they arrive!... they... they... raid... they do instances...... THEY DO QUESTS!.
Way to create an epic fucking anticlimax morons.

And my friend can play as much SC2 as he wants without having to wait in line.

That is what I gathered; no one cares. Aren't there alot of DOTA ppl also? I always see kids playing dota in computer cafés in Sweden..
Removing SC from dreamhack tourney was epic stupidity.. wtf?

Rant is completely accurate and valid.
I was supposed to go this years winter, but said fuck it when they suddenly did away with the SC tourny.
