If you double the displacement x, you get 2^2 or 4 times as much energy stored (4Uo) If you half the displacement x, you get (1/2)^4 time as much energy stored (Uo/4) If you want to double the energy, then you say 2 = x^2 so x needs to be sqrt(2)'d (xo*sqrt(2)) | ||

And I put Uo/4 for the second one. This p.o.s tells me: Submitted Evaluated Message 4Uo 2.78 The correct answer does not depend on the variable: U_0. | ||
