Now, I prefer Obama more than McCain. But I think some people are taking Obama wayyyyy too seriously. I don't usually like Glenn Beck, but even the most fervent Obama supporter has to admit this is funny. I didn't support either candidate (just anti-Palin) but I didn't really find it funny. Still you'd have to be pretty stupid to find it offensive, since it's just really dumb.

It probably didn't get a laugh out of me because this comparison is so weak that it sounds like it's coming from the guy who's idea of a joke is shouting "CHEEEEEESE" when you're talking about the weather.

When I say "too seriously" I mean to say that some people see him with like a godly attitude. Basically if you watched the south park election episode and saw the way Randy acted towards Obama that's what I mean, people who just expect positive change overnight and give justification to their every action by saying, "because Obama's president now that's why!"
